The way Vicious Balls works is very intuitive. You can even choose between 'easy', 'normal' and 'hard' to adapt the playability to the difficulty level that you feel most comfortable with. It is the same with the controls. All you need to do is swipe on the board to move the hole. Be careful as, by moving closer to the balls, you will attract all of them, regardless of the material they're made out of. So, if non-steel balls fall inside, you will lose the game. So, pay attention to all the balls' movements and move the hole to the different areas when you think it's appropriate.
